Bars & Clubs in Courchevel
Bar Le Jump
Bar Le Jump is one of those places that is always packed with people; although it lacks a little in style and refinement, you cannot deny the meaning of a constantly packed bar, this place is undeniably good fun. Not everyone cares the most for a lively bar, but if you are looking for a lively atmosphere then Bar Le Jump is a good option to encourage you into a feel-happy mood.
The crowd here tends to be a bit younger than some other Courchevel bar venues, so bear that in mind if you don't want to be surrounded by youngsters; it is also very popular with locals so you will see a lot more seasonaires and workers kicking-back here after work. It is a very popular location for its après ski due to its proximity to the piste, however, a good way of avoiding the more local crowd is to arrive a bit later in the evening.
Le White Bar
Claimed to be the chicest bar in Courchevel (a common assertion for most bars), this place is better known for it's après ski scene but we prefer to frequent this place in the early evening, pre-dinner preferably. The glitz and glamour of this place is undeniable. The trained and knowledgeable bartenders here are equal to serving you from a selection of Dom, Cristal and Bollinger; the quality of the drinks is never forsaken here.
For all its exclusivity, the furnishings and décor is not overbearing but hip and modern with a slight alpine twist. The evenings provide you with a quieter atmosphere compared to the afternoons when children are welcome for 'afternoon tea'.
This is one of the favourite places of the elite and famous in Courchevel to let their hair down and have a little dance. Yet, dancing is by no means all you can do here; with the extensive amount of lounges and bars, you can enjoy lounging in a huge sofa or chilling in a booth peeking at the dancers on the floor.
They do offer bottle service here so be sure to book in advance if you want the chance to get the full celebrity treatment for you and your friends on your night out; although you may get lucky if the bar isn't full because the booths are not solely reserved for VIP bottle service.
The DJ at Le Grange through most of the high season is the infamous JackE from Les Caves du Roy in St. Tropez, so you know you are going to get a good night out. One quirky thing to bear in mind is that every Wednesday and Saturday during the Christmas period, a Russian Karoke night occurs; which is not exactly everyone's party so check ahead of time what is planned for the evening.
This is a less classy alternative to a late-night venue in Courchevel. The après ski here attracts a younger crowd, whereas later on a more interesting group of tapas-seekers will appear as the Cuban themed pub produces their cool mix of live bands and DJ sets.
The beer and music make this one of the wildest nights out in Courchevel 1850; if rowdy crowds and a wider variety of people is what you are looking for, you have come to the right place. Beware that this is not a night out for those who can not appreciate a dirty and exciting atmosphere, if you are looking for a big night which is not completely lacking in style and class, we would advise you to avoid this place and head to Le Grange instead.
